Chapter 1: How It All Began

Previous Chapter Review: 

• I showed off the characters.

 It all started on a beautiful, sun-filled day. I would say that this day was like every other day, until it happened. 

My parents were going on their way past due honeymoon after finally saving enough money. They were going on a cruise to Brazil, because wanted to return to the place they met all those years ago. 

My mother hated to leave my sister so she spent the whole morning carrying her around and hugging her.

Even our father, who didn't exactly love kids, spent some time cuddling with his baby girl before he left.

As they were leaving, dad gave a heart-felt hug, something I haven't gotten from him in a while.

Mom was the last to give me a hug goodbye. I was sad to see them go, but I knew they deserved it. 

I just wish I would have know that would have been the last time I saw them.

 Going to the canal to the ocean was always hard for me now, that's where they died. Their motor boat was ran over by a shipping boat, on their way to the coast to get on their cruise ship. I was there waving goodbye, not knowing that within 5 min. they would be gone forever.

We buried them in a empty spot at the cemetery, Dad is the one with blue flowers and the sunflowers, his favorite flower. Mom is the one with the orange and red flowers with the calla lilies, her favorite flower.

Their deaths were hard on both of us. Poor Madison didn't understand, I didn't know how I would ever be able to explain this.

 The stress of becoming Madison's legal guardian was bound to put unwanted stress on mine and Matt's relationship. However, he was there for me during this hard time, something I won't ever be able to repay him for.

No matter what happens though, I promised my parents before they left that I would always take care of Madison, I intend to keep that promise. Whether I'm with someone or not, I won't ever leave her.

I bet you thought this was going to be a happy story, well it's not. I won't say yet whither Matt and Paige will stay together or not, guess you'll just have to wait and see.

On Our Own Intro - Introducing The Characters

This is my house, were my whole family lives plus one. 

My father, mother, sister, myself, and my boyfriend all live here. Sometimes it gets stressful but most of the time we just joke around and have fun. You'll see the whole family later.

This is where me and my boyfriend go to school at. We are Juniors this year!

This is my mother and father. My father's name is Daniel and my mother's name is Sarah. They have been married for 15 years.

This is my little sister, Madison. Ain't she just as cute as a button. I love her so much.

This is me and my boyfriend. My name is Paige and my boyfriend's name is Matt. We have been together since the 8th grade. We are Juniors this year and can't wait to be Seniors next year!

However, plans tend to change for the worse sometimes

Different Story Now

Okay, so I decided to change the title and plot of my story. It is now about a young girl who is now caring for her younger sister. I can't tell you anymore or else I will ruin the whole story. I plan on starting it pretty soon though.
